Penned & Painted Watercolor

If you love floral stamps, this set is for you! You can create so many different looks with these stamps. It is considered a 2-step set but it actually has 3 steps, if you choose. It has a light, a shadow and an outline. The light or the outline can be used individually for a different look. This set is one of my favorites from the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog. Sadly, it will be retiring at the end of this month. If you want to order this set before it is gone, here is the link to my online store,

For this card, I used the Ticket Tear Border Punch in Gold Foil. This is a new punch and will be available when the new catalog goes live, June 1. Shimmery White card stock was used, it is wonderful for watercoloring! I inked up the stamp and spritzed it with water using my Stampin' Spritzer. It is important to let each layer dry thoroughly, after stamping. I then used a Silver - Black Velvet Watercolor Brush with Marina Mist ink to watercolor the background.

Watercolor Wings

I love Butterflies and this spring have added a Butterfly Box (hibernation box) to my garden. It is more of an ornamental statement but love the idea of a Butterfly Box.
I wish you could see this card in person, it shimmers! I stamped the background first and then stamped the Butterfly. I watercolored the butterfly a beautiful blue, which consists of Smoky Slate, Soft Sky, Marina Mist, Tempting Turquoise and Pacific Point. I embossed the edges with gold embossing powder and applied Wink of Stella shimmer. It is just gorgeous!

Brick Wall Birthday

The Brick Wall TIEF is such fun! So excited to get a chance to play with this embossing folder. One of my favorite techniques is sponging colors, it adds depth to your project. This embossing folder showcases that technique. I added some pretty flowers to the brick wall from the Wild About Flowers stamp set. The finishing touches are the Pool Party/Gold Baker's Twine (Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit) and a gold foil Dragonfly! Thanks so much for stopping by, please leave me a comment!

Home Sweet Home

I love quaint cottages surrounded by flowers! I created this little yellow cottage with its white window boxes filled with flowers, using the Home Sweet Home Thinlits Dies. The cottage has a white arched door and white arched windows, topped with a shaker tile roof. I plan to fill this little cottage with treats (what else but Lemon Drop candy!). I left the two top panels (roof) open to access the treats and glued shut the bottom. The front door has a Rhinestone door knob and the door does open!!! The Sweet Home stamp set and matching Home Sweet Home Thinlits are a carryover for next year's catalog! Yay! Thanks for stopping by, please leave me a comment.
