Thinking of You

This was a fun watercolor card to make. Using Stampin' Up! Watercolor Paper, I made a background wash using reinkers and an Aqua Painter brush. After this was completely dry, I embossed the Dove with Copper Embossing Powder. Embossed a sentiment in Copper Embossing Powder surrounded with Copper Thread.
I accented two Copper Foil corners using the largest Stitched Shapes Square Framelit. Cut it in half, both directions. Then trimmed the stitched portion at an angle to create the corners.

Christmas Gift Card Holders

I wanted to get a head start on making some Gift Card Holders for Christmas. This is the template I created and made five versions, to start. Just have to say, love the new Stitched Shapes Framelits! For the Gift Card Holder instructions, scroll down to the bottom of the post.

Gift Card Holder - opened

Gift Card Holder - back

Here are the fronts on the other four versions

Instructions:
DSP - 4 1/8" x 6"
Score long side at 1 1/2" and 4"
Use the Corner Rounder on the Front two corners
Punch a half circle on the bottom flap with a 3/4" Circle Punch.
Flip up the bottom and adhere the sides only to create your gift card pocket.
Stamp the To & From and adhere to the back.
Tip:
To keep the Holder closed, I create a sticky dot on the inside top of the Holder. With a 1/4" Circle Punch,  punch a circle in the top part of a sticky note (in the sticky part). Line-up the sticky note with the inside top, centered in the width. Fill the punched out hole of the sticky note with Tombow Glue. Leave the Holder open to let the glue dry for a few minutes, pull off the sticky note. Tombow Glue will dry to be tacky. This is a great way to keep the Holder closed. Give it a try!

Grateful For You Nugget Boxes

I had fun making these Nugget Boxes. We are hosting our church small group this weekend and I wanted to make something as a take-home party favor. Here in Tennessee, fall is in all its glory! The trees are gorgeous with leaves of golds, reds, yellows and greens. I wanted to reflect that in these nugget boxes.

Here is a close-up of one of the boxes!

When you open the box, there is a "Grateful For You" message.

Giving Thanks Scarecrow

I love to peruse stamping YouTube videos and saw this cute Scarecrow Treat Box. I don't "CASE" very often but thought this was really cute. Here is the link to the ChicknScratch video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyPh8Z0IQx8. I did make a few minor changes along the way. Isn't this Scarecrow the cutest? Three mini Twix candies fit perfectly. I can see a lot of possibilities for this box!
